Squarefront Media ("we," "us" or "our") helps home remodeling contractors find and book homeowners for in-home estimates. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, squarefrontmedia.com, to people who book a call with us, and to homeowners who contact our clients through advertising and messaging we run on their behalf.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, email us or fill in a form, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, trade, service area and your answers to our questions.
Information from homeowners. When a homeowner responds to an ad or form we run for one of our contractor clients, we collect details such as their name, phone number, email address, town or ZIP code, and information about their project, budget range and timeline.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and the services it uses may receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. If we add advertising or analytics tools (such as the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics), they may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance. We will update this policy if we do.
How we use information
- To schedule and hold calls, respond to messages and provide our services.
- To contact homeowners about the project they asked about, check whether it is a fit, and book an estimate with the contractor they were matched with.
- To send appointment confirmations and reminders.
- To measure and improve our advertising and services.
- To meet legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, your appointment and related follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With the contractor you were matched with. If you are a homeowner, we share your contact and project details with the one contractor client whose ad you responded to, so they can provide your estimate. Each homeowner is matched with one contractor only.
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as scheduling, email, messaging, hosting and advertising platforms (for example, Google and Meta). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Squarefront Media, our clients or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of the business, subject to this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including follow-up on an inquiry for up to 90 days, or longer where required by law or a client agreement. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@squarefrontmedia.com. Depending on where you live, including New Jersey, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making one.
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in the message, and stop text messages by replying STOP.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
